So I'm sitting here worrying about how much stuff...
and then I realize that it’s Tuesday and I have nothing else to do but focus on my to-do list between now and tomorrow at 3 p.m. I think I will try to be productive until 8 or 9, then read some magazines with a glass of wine (hey, it counts as job research) and go to bed early. This is the closest I’ll ever be to a lady of leisure, so I might as well enjoy it.

I can’t even figure out how to get the Twitter button to show up in my header. I’m in the process of trying to streamline my social media presence under my real name for job stuff since one of the things I bring to the table is social media experience, so I should actually look like I know what I’m doing.
I just found out that my former boss got fired.
I am so pissed off on her behalf. Without knowing the circumstances I can pretty much assure you that this is the result of some political bullshit wherein the GM got sick of having even one person around who wasn’t going to yes him to death. Also he is shooting himself in the foot on this one. Stay klassy.

The ASPCA’s “Quick Kill” bill sponsored in New York State would allow New York pounds to kill lost pets upon arrival—without any hold period—if pound employees deem the animals in “psychological pain,” which is not defined.
